[Wiki Loves Monuments] [WLM announce] UNESCO list vs National list

>From the perspective of WLM in Ukraine I would give this answer: you are
bound by local list - but you are free to expand them :)

What I mean here is this. In Ukraine we have several types of cultural
monuments and they are protected by separate governmental institutions.
Thus each institution has its own list of what it protected under it. (And
UNESCO heritage sites are also monuments in the national documents). So we
took all the lists available and combined them into our own contest list of
monuments. As soon as a building or a site is proven to be state protected
we add it to the list. (Obviously, our list of monuments is gathered in
Wikipedia; and a list of monuments in Ukraine as complete as this is not to
be found on other sources yet).

So, imho, if you have UNESCO Ghana list and GMMB list you just use them
both for the contest.
