[Wiki Loves Monuments] Checklist for the end of submissions? Misc

Does anybody have a checklist for people to do at the end of the
contest (i.e. Sept 30- Oct 1)?

The only things I can think of are
1. Make sure the uploading system (buttons, etc.) no longer work
2. Put a notice on the various webpages
3. Start on the jury/screening process
4. Make sure the banner stops working (Maybe change it to a "Today's
the final day for Wiki Loves Monuments" on Sunday? Perhaps even a
"Thank you for participating in Wiki Loves Monuments" for the day
after) - but this is pretty centralized, most of us can't do this.

Anything else we should do?

Just a reminder, I'd like the US submissions to stop at 6:01 a.m. EDT,
October 1 (12:01 a.m. Hawaiian Standard Time)
I think I can remove the buttons from the lists at that time.

Miscellaneous
1. For any exhibitions I'll suggest using QRpedia codes, that link to
the relevant article in the preferred language of the smart phone
user. For this to be effective, of course, there has to be an article
and it should be translated into multiple languages. How many
"primary national languages" do we have represented this year? It
must be at least 20. Doing this would not only make an exhibition a
showcase for WLM, but also for Wikipedia as a whole, especially the
smart phone and multiple languages aspects of Wikipedia.

A bit of the work of creating and translating articles can begin - at
least unofficially - before the national winners go to the
international jury. Just make sure there's an article for every photo
you really, really like. After Halloween, I hope there will be an
overall list of the national winners somewhere and folks just start
creating and translating everything on the list, with a space to note
what's already done.

2. From http://toolserver.org/~emijrp/wlm/stats.php I notice that both
the US and India have many uploaders, but a lower number of
uploads/uploader than most other countries. I'm sure somebody will ask
me about this, but I don't have a clue to the answer!
