[Wiki Loves Monuments] Ideas wanted: Our lists have become too big

As a rule of thumb I've limited the list to 250 raw monuments to avoid the limit of template transclusions, specially if you have 250 coordinates templates. For better rendering the page 200 is ok. In the list for Iasi there are 1518 monuments! It is impossible to add all coordinates, or any other function as a direct upload link. You should split the lists and add some navigation facility. For example, by "comuna" or any other intuitive subdivision.
