[Translators-l] 24 Hour Global Fundraising test - issues? problems? Hungarian appearing as Turkish?

Hi Joseph,

Here are a couple of suggestions to the Japan/Japanese version.

1. Mention Japanese Yen in one of the correct formats

The form shows "1000 ¥", "2000 ¥" etc as the choices of the amount of
the money you donate. I have never seen Japanese Yen mentioned using
this format elsewhere. It would have to either be "¥2000" or "2000円"
in Japanese. I guess people could underestimate the trustworthiness
and security of the site, if this simple but important part is not
treated carefully.

2. Correct the translation

The banner text contains typos, confusing wordings, a phrase (in the
last part) I have no idea how it got there. I made some more fixes on
top of Takashi's suggestion. Please consider updating the three
columns with:

I saw the banner from Japan on the Japanese Wikipedia. The last time
I checked the landing page was
https://donate.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:FundraiserLandingPage?uselang=ja&country=JP&template=Lp-layout-default&appeal-template=Appeal-template-default&appeal=Appeal-default&infobox=Default&form-template=Form-template-default&form-countryspecific=Form-countryspecific-control&utm_medium=sitenotice&utm_source=B12_FpcwNondDef_JP&utm_campaign=C12_iwpjaWW_FR_JP

Best,
Yusuke
