So maybe I did not make my point clear, so I wil lstate it briefly.
* Translating = editing
* A translator is therefore also an editor.
* Work on a wiki counts as work on that wiki ;)
* Therefore, working in meta doesn't give you automatically right to
"vote" on arabian wikipedia, japanese wiktionary, wikimedia commons,
etc.
* You need to work on those projects as well if you want to be
considered as a good editor in those projects (you may even translate
articles from one wikipedia to other, and that would establish you as
an editor on the target wikipedia)
