I see. this part I wasn't sure of. thanks.

We did some experiments with IE and it has been working consistently across
ISPs so far, in situations that Chrome and Safari did not. I'll see if we
can find more information from the ISPs. I'll update here if I learn more.

Sorry. I should have mentioned this. We were curious how IE on Windows
does, and that's why we entered into the tests. (So this wasn't IE on Linux
or iOS :-)

More seriously, I just closed T112461 and T112462.

[T112460] is a bit more tricky.
