To follow up on myself, I just changed the archiving to archive after 30 days if no resolved template is pasted, as the page had a lot of obsolete questions from previous years.

Also I took the liberty to remove the non-working random-id from the preload template, and added a comment to point people to the section header to fill in. Hopefully that keeps the page a bit better maintainable.
