[Wiki Loves Monuments] Camera users - the Android app is for you!

Phil,
I tested the app update today and the new link for desktop use works great!
I was somewhat disappointed it just gives me the WLM identifier, without
prefilling the field for description, but when I am behind my computer it
is much easier to use copy&paste than with the mobile phone. Shouldn't this
feature be included for the regular WLM uploader? If someone has already
uploaded through the WLM uploader, then it is much easier to upload from
their picture than to scan the wikipedia lists (on some language Wikipedia
that is not Commons) for the identifier, no?

Also, as far as the update goes, my earlier issues seem to be fixed. I am
now able to choose the "nearby" option and then take a photo and upload
that directly. Previous to this update I needed to first take a foto and
then I could only use the app to upload from my gallery. I still notice
some problems with local positioning with the GPS (the GPS is at times off,
both for my position and for the monument positions), but this may just be
the way GPS works with my phone.
Jane
