[Wiki Loves Monuments] Wiki Loves Monuments in Spain has its winners

Wiki Loves Monuments 2011 in Spain has its winners! The jury after a
tremendous work reviewing and evaluating nearly 18 000 photographs has
reached a decision. They asked us to transmit the message that the work of
the participants has been amazing. This project has been a great success
for all of us!

These are the winners:

*1st prize:
of Doña María de Padilla, Sevilla.

*2nd prize:

of Veruela, in Vera de Moncayo, Zaragoza.

*3rd prize:
of Almansa, in Almansa, Albacete.

The other seven pictures that will receive a diploma and complete the ten
that will be submitted for Spain to the European contest are:

   - 5th:
of Barcelona.

of St. Thomas of Canterbury in Sabugo, Avilés, Asturias

The winner of the special prize to the user who submitted more pictures of
different monuments has been
with an incredible record number of 222 different Spanish monuments

knowledge initiatives!

*The prize ceremony will take place at Plasencia (Cáceres) next November
5th, and all of you are welcome to join us and attend it!*
