Oh, yeah.  That's because they have their URL hardcoded and need to change
it to catch the language information like we do.

When they do that, you'll get a link like this: <
http://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Special:LandingCheck?landing_page=WMFJA1&language=cy&country=GB>
  Which leads you to the proper page -- so it should definitely work in
practice. :-)
