[Translators-l] Ready for early translation: Tech News summary #2 (2014)

The tech news indicates we can press Alt+1 as a shortcut to insert
replaceable variables.

This clearly does not work : I just hear a "beep" when I press it in the
Translation editor, with my French AZERTY keyboard on Chrome for Windows.
The shortcut is possibly not mapped (or the update still not deployed on
Meta).

Such shortcuts interact frequently very badly with input method editors
needed for some languages, so these shortcuts should be localisable too
(this is not the case, the shortcut is apparently fixed). The Alt key is
also not the one used on MacOS.
